This spring, the Obama administration’s put religious freedom, women’s rights and government-regulated health care at the center of public discourse when it required religiously affiliated organizations to provide health care coverage that included contraception — regardless of whether it is against a group’s stated moral beliefs. To discuss the policy implications of this decision, the Baker Institute Student Forum (BISF) is hosting a debate featuring students from the Rice Conservative Forum and the Rice University Young Democrats. The event is the spring 2012 installment in a series of student debates hosted by BISF.
Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm, and discussion will begin at 6:00 pm.
RSVP by sending your name to bisf@rice.edu.
