    Mr. Claudio X. González Laporte
    Chairman of the Board 
    Kimberly-Clark de Mexico, S.A.B. de C.V.
     

    Born in Cananea, Sonora (Mexico), Claudio X. González Laporte is Chairman of the Board of Kimberly-Clark de Mexico, S.A.B. de C.V. a publicly traded consumer products company with sales of over US 3 billion and market leading shares. Mr. González earned his Chemical Engineering degree from Stanford University and has completed post graduate studies at the Institute de Administración de Negocios (Mexico City).  Mr. González is a Director of Fondo Mexico (Mexico Fund), Grupo Alfa, Grupo Carso, Grupo Mexico, and a Consultant to Capital Group. He is also Director Emeritus of General Electric Co. and formerly a Director of Kimberly-Clark Corp., Kellogg Co., Home Depot, Unilever Bechtel Corp., America Movil and JP Morgan Chase International Advisory Board. Mr. González is Former Chairman of the Mexican Business Council, Former Chairman of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (Principal Private Sector Spokesman in Mexico) and Former Chairman of the Centro de Estudios Económicos del Sector Privado (Center for Economic Studies of the Private Sector). He is also a Member of the Advisory Board of the Baker Institute for Public Policy and a fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar (Salzburg, Austria), Member of the Board of the New York Philharmonic.
