On September 13, the Baker Institute Center for the U.S. and Mexico celebrated its 10th anniversary by welcoming His Excellency Esteban Moctezuma Barragán, ambassador of Mexico to the U.S., to Baker Hall for a conversation on the state of the U.S.-Mexico relationship. Mary Beth Sheridan, Mexico City bureau chief of the Washington Post, moderated.
This private dinner event was open to the center’s supporters and donors and featured welcome remarks from the Honorable James A. Baker, III, honorary chair of the Baker Institute; the Honorable David M. Satterfield, director of the institute; and Tony Payan, the institute’s Françoise and Edward Djerejian Fellow for Mexico Studies and center director.
