Michal (Mikki) Middleton is the digital communications specialist at the Baker Institute. She works with the digital team to design, execute, and manage digital communications — specifically email communications and social media.

Prior to joining the institute, she held various roles in public relations, marketing, and social media, including working for the University of Houston-Clear Lake as a social media assistant in the Office of Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Middleton graduated cum laude from Virginia State University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and a minor in Marketing. She also attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she pursued her Master of Arts in Digital Media Studies.
